Hire Terms & Conditions

1. Minimum Hire Amount
Minimum decor rental amount: R1,000 (excluding delivery).

2. Booking Confirmation
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
Proof of payment and a signed agreement must be sent to: info@countrysidecreations.co.za
Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received, and the date is confirmed by Countryside Creations.

3. Payment
Final payment is due 14 days before the event.
Late payments may result in cancellation without prior notice.
Payments via EFT only; use your booking/quote number as a reference.

4. Delivery & Collection
Countryside Creations delivery takes place 1-2 days before the event; collection is the next business day.
Clients are required to collect their DIY Décor Setup boxes from Countryside Creations at least 1 day before the event.
All items must be returned to Countryside Creations in the same condition & original packaging as collected within 1 day after the event.
Clients are responsible for the setup and arrangement of all items included in this package.
Countryside Creations does not provide setup or on-site assistance for this package. 
Late returns are subject to a penalty of R250.00 per day. 
Transport fee excludes setup and breakdown.
For venues more than 50km away, accommodation and additional travel fees will apply.
Physical setup of outsourced items must be handled by additional staff hired by the client.

5. Care of Items
Items must be kept clean, dry, and in good condition.
Damaged, lost, or broken items will be charged at full replacement value.
Cutlery, crockery, and glassware must be returned washed and dried.

6. Refundable Breakage Deposit
A refundable deposit is required and will be returned within 21 business days, provided items are returned in good condition.
Costs for damages, losses, or late returns will be deducted from this deposit.

7. Cancellation Policy
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellation fees apply as follows:
More than 5 months: 50% of total quote.
4 months: 65%.
3 months: 75%.
2 months: 85%.
30 days or less: 100%.
Postponements are allowed with 30 days’ notice, subject to item availability.

8. Limitations of Liability
Countryside Creations is not responsible for:
Weather or unforeseen events preventing delivery or setup.
Courier delays or product unavailability.
Allergies, injuries, or damages caused by hired items. 

9. General
The Client accepts responsibility for items once delivered.
This agreement is binding and enforceable under South African law.
All bookings are subject to availability.
By making a booking, clients agree to these Terms and Conditions.
